Applications

Antioxidant 168 is an excellent phosphite antioxidant. It is a white powder in appearance. It is easily soluble in organic solvents such as benzene, chloroform and cyclohexane. It is slightly soluble in ethanol, acetone, and insoluble in water and alcohol Solvent, slightly soluble in esters. Low toxicity, low volatility, high thermal stability, excellent hydrolysis resistance, and can effectively decompose hydroperoxides generated during the thermal processing of polymeric materials.

There are more than a dozen formulations compounded with phenolic antioxidants, which are widely used in polyolefins (such as polyethylene and polypropylene) and olefin copolymers, polyamides, polycarbonates, PS resins, PVC, engineering plastics, and rubber And petroleum products, polymer materials such as ABS resin.
